Best Practices for Teachers in the Workplace

The purpose of this training is to assist educators with the "how-to's" of planning a Teacher in the Workplace experience. This training educators who have little or no experience in Teacher in the Workplace professional development. The training will highlight aligning workforce needs using labor data, creating industry partnerships, best grant writing practices, and connecting the experience to student outcomes in work-based learning opportunities. As a result of this training, leadership teams will be poised to better participate in Teacher in the Workplace experiences to develop sustainable partnerships and align academic content to workforce needs to prepare students for postsecondary success.
