An Introduction to Remote Instructional Design Principles
Attended by more than 2,000 educators to date, OnRamp to Remote Learning is a 3-hour virtual synchronous training designed to establish common language and instructional practices for remote learning. Participants receive an opportunity to experience modeled virtual instruction, reimagine their own content and instructional practices in a virtual or hybrid setting, and explore the following 6 remote learning design principles through collaborative and engaging activities:

OnRamp to Remote Learning has been created by a diverse team at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit with expertise in educational technology, literacy, special education, assistive technology, STEM, and computer science.
This foundational training is a perfect precursor to the synchronous and asynchronous content provided on this website.
